I will be attending a charity function soon and need a bit of help. The dress shirt I am wearing with my suit is a french cuffs. Would silk suspenders be too casual with such a shirt or would I be OK? I am not planning on taking my suit coat off, just open in the front. I am relatively new to having to dress for these types of functions, and this is my first time with a french cuff shirt. All serious replies are appreciated.
