    I have personally never heard of the " No Blue with Black" . I often wear a deep Blue shirt with a black suit.

    The only concern could be the light shade blue may be swamped by the darkness of the Black.

    Otherwise it is all a personal choice, If it feel right for YOU, then wear it .
