French cuffs are twice as long as normal cuffs, and are worn doubled back on themselves. They’re usually fastened with some manner of cuff link.

A French Cuff is a different type of cuff than a regular cuff. It’s longer so it folds over and you add a cufflink to it so that it stays in place. Here’s a link for a picture –
